the exedra | the maze | the coffee house | the orangery | the small wood
An eighteenth century lodge, the exedra is encircled by six converging perspective paths running through large arches which open in its six hollow sides. The marmorino walls tinted in ivory white are embellished with elegant frames.
A winding staircase hidden in a turret leads to the terrace with twelve statues ascribed to Giovanni Bonazza which run round the balustrade and depict liberal arts and rural characters. The storeroom and the gardener's house are at the sides of the exedra.
