A nineteenth century gate, watched by two dogs made of Istria stone, opens onto the area for the exhibition and cultivation of potted citrus plants. From April to October a rich collection of citrus plants is arranged along the six perspective paths and the circle path crossing them. During the cold Winter months the plants are sheltered in the large nearby conservatory. At the end of the paths there are statue of mythological characters with the background of a high hornbeam hedge which limits three sides of the area.
