The nineteenth century garden west of the stables was begun during Napoleon’s years and was finished in 1820 by Austrians. Its winding paths and thick vegetation make it completely different from the other areas of the garden and create a romantic atmosphere. In 1839 inside the small wood an ice-room was built and hidden under a small hill covered with a false lava flaw from where arise stone busts. At the top of the small hill there is the statue of Ceres, patron goddess of agriculture.
